The investment I made in hiring a professional editor was money well spent. No better way to get an honest look into what you have poured your heart into for the better part of 10 months.

I knew going into this developmental edit that I would be getting some hard feedback - it's what I was paying for! After the initial shock of "why isn't she seeing my brilliance here...", I spent my 3 hours on a plane to Florida looking at the feedback with an open mind. It was great feedback and I have a renewed vigor to start my rewrites and plot adjustments.

The first draft was for me..... The rewrites are for everyone else..... --- I think there is a lot of room for both of us to be happy with a final product!!!!

10 days on a beach, digging into some obvious, well obvious now, plot holes and some tighter character development.........
